This can mean taking care of pets, watering plants, ensuring the house’s security, and perhaps even collecting the mail. This ensures that the house and pets are protected and cared for when the owners are not at home. „Haussitting“ is a free service for both parties. It’s a win-win for everyone; we can live in beautiful places for free, and homeowners can enjoy their time away with peace of mind.

we are Tascha & Patrick from Luxembourg, both in our early 40s, married, and have been traveling as a couple since 1996.
We love traveling, hiking, cooking, and life itself. House sitting allows us to explore a destination for an extended period and engage with the locals. We have a passion for foreign cultures, customs, and traditions, and we are always curious about what awaits us next.
Living in your house and taking care of what you hold dear gives us the sense of doing something good. Moreover, it provides us with the opportunity to experience life as a local.
Tascha has worked in the real estate industry for 11 years and knows how important it is to own a well-maintained home. She loves everything to be perfectly organized and tidy!
Patrick is a trained electrician with over 15 years of experience in the field. He is technically skilled and enjoys taking on new challenges. With these skills, we have independently renovated an entire house and converted an empty van into a mobile home.
For minor maintenance tasks, we often don’t need to call a handyman. We simply take care of them ourselves. We are fluent in English, French, German, and Luxembourgish. Since early 2016, we have become self-employed and primarily work online.
This flexible lifestyle allows us to take on housesitting jobs worldwide. All we need is a good internet connection to carry out our daily tasks and take care of our clients. We can do our job from anywhere. (You can find more about this here).
We assure you that your home is in good and safe hands with us. We have our own means of transportation, and we are reliable, honest, well-kept, and non-smokers.

Tascha and Patrick are by far the best housesitters I have ever had for my property in Costa Rica with 2 houses on it. They were responsible, communicative, resourceful, enthusiastic, very clean and tidy and technically competent for handling issues with the internet and my water system etc. They even prepared my casita for a guess rental and did a great job. We came home to find the property in excellent condition. I would highly recommend Tascha & Patrick for housesitting anywhere in the world!
We cannot praise highly enough Natascha and Patrick, what a charming couple they are! They took excellent care of Conny, our Jagdterrier, who was quite sad to see them go! We had no concerns whatsoever about her care. They really went the extra mile, dealing with an unexpected house viewing, having to deal with someone collecting our car, all taken in their stride! The house was absolutely spotless and my cooker was gleaming! (I haven’t seen it look like that for a long time, thank you Patrick!) They are a wonderful, trustworthy and responsible couple, we hope they will be available when we next need sitters. Thank you both very much.

Tascha und Patrick haben unser Haus und drei unserer Hunde für eine knappe Woche gehütet. Von Anfang an hatten wir einen ganz vertrauensvollen Eindruck von ihnen. Sie sind auch einfach supernett und sehr sympathisch! Alles hat gut geklappt. Die Hunde haben ganz schnell Zugang zu ihnen gefunden und sich ganz wohl gefühlt. Sogar vor der Betreuung unserer sehr herzkranken Cavallier King Charles-Hündin haben sie nicht zurück geschreckt und diese war mit zu verabreichenden Medikamenten und Rücksichtnahme bei ihnen in guten Händen gewesen. Durch den telefonischen Kontakt während unserer Reise und entspechende Rückmeldungen, konnten wir unsere kleine Reise mit gutem Gefühl und gutem Gewissen genießen!!! Und unser Haus war ebenfalls in guten Händen. Alles war ordentlich und sauber bei unserer Rückkehr. Es war auch sehr schön, frische Milch und frisches Brot für das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen zu haben. Sie sind auf jeden Fall mit 5 Sternen weiterzuempfehlen!!! Vielen Dank ihr Beiden!
